About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the pharmacy department's operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including unit dose packaging and labeling.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate medication inventory levels, including receiving and stocking medications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, nurses, and physicians, responding to their medication-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and contributing to the development of solutions.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations, including participating in on-call rotations and providing support during peak periods.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
