Job Title: Biosafety Cabinet Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Biosafety Cabinet Technician to join our Engineering team at Triumvirate Environmental. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing testing and certifications of biosafety cabinets within our clients' lab spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with clients and service managers to schedule work and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct gas decontamination and certification of biological safety cabinets and chemical fume hoods in accordance with contract and industry standards.
  • Prepare, review, and transmit project reports and certifications to clients.
  • Maintain and certify equipment for decontamination, certification, and sterilization.
  • Provide support for decommissioning, laboratory equipment decontamination, and calibration.
  • Assist with closure assessments for client R&D facilities, labs, pharmacies, and clean rooms.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience as an instrument/field technician, knowledgeable in monitoring equipment, lab equipment, field testing, and/or equipment maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including possible off-hours and weekends.
  • Successful completion of a physical examination and drug screening is required prior to employment.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with testing and certification of biological safety cabinet services.
  • Knowledge of fume hood and cabinet testing standards and testing instrumentation.
  • Experience with laboratory building systems and/or laboratory infrastructure.
  • OSHA 40-hour training.
