Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at IMEG Corp. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and analysis of structural systems using various building materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems using a variety of building materials, utilizing engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards.
- Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively.
- Work as part of a project team to support the execution of consulting projects, assist in project planning and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Assist with documenting design decisions and instructions from clients while monitoring project design progress.
- Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions, collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical and efficient solutions.
- Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering, contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG.
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work, conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other project goals.
- Engage in the full life cycle of projects from conception through construction by developing designs, construction documents, and participating in construction administration duties such as reviewing construction submittals and participating in job site observations.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required.
- Master's Degree (MS) in Structural Engineering preferred.
- Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred.
- Engineering in Training (EIT) License preferred.
- This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
