Payroll Specialist Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a non-profit organization to identify a temporary to hire payroll professional for their team. Your main responsibilities will be payroll processing and handling employee inquiries. There is the opportunity to assist with more accounting tasks once you are comfortable with the scope of your role. Everyone in the organization helps where needed so the person joining needs to be a team player and be comfortable cross training on different tasks. This position is a hybrid role in Bellevue, WA with a team that is passionate about their organization and mission.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Processing bi-weekly payroll and payroll taxes for about two hundred employees
  • Updating employee files and responding to any inquiries
  • Preparing W-2 forms and assisting with benefit administration
  • Reconciling payroll timecards and tax reports
  • Posting payroll-related journal entries
  • Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • At least one year of payroll processing experience
  • Previous experience on an ADP platform is preferred
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to work discretely with confidential information
  • Able to function with extreme accuracy
Employment Details:
  • Temporary to hire
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Hybrid schedule, office location in Bellevue, WA
Pay Details:
  • $29.00 to $32.00 per hour
