Mental Health Specialist

InGenesis is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing culturally competent mental health services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide preventative counseling services to individuals and groups.
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with our Outreach Worker to attend community events and provide education on mental health services.
- Consult with our Program Manager to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local schools and community organizations to provide behavioral health services.
- Screen, triage, and assess clients to determine the level of care needed.
- Coordinate referrals to community resources and maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide psychopharmacological consultation to primary care providers as needed.
- Master's degree in social work or clinical psychology.
- Current California license as a clinical social worker (LCSW) or psychologist.
- Bilingual skills highly desirable, particularly in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or Japanese.
- One year of experience in behavioral health, primary care consultation, or a related field.
- Experience working in public health settings and serving diverse communities.
- Sitting, walking, and standing in a normal office environment and in the field.
- Regular bending, stretching, and lifting.
- Manual dexterity for office equipment and computer use.
- Presenting information to groups.
- Reading and writing to review records and maintain client files.
