Key Responsibilities- Mental Health Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and develop treatment plans for members with acute or chronic mental health needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, allied health professionals, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes.
- Psychotherapy and Counseling: Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to members, addressing a range of mental health concerns.
- Case Management and Coordination: Develop and implement treatment plans, coordinate care with other healthcare providers, and ensure seamless transitions between services.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes.
- Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field, with a valid license to practice as a mental health professional in California.
- Experience: Previous experience in mental health settings, preferably in an outpatient or inpatient setting, with a focus on crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
- Skills and Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Post-Licensure Experience: Previous experience as a licensed mental health professional, with a focus on crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
- Leadership and Supervision: Experience in supervising or leading teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing staff.
