Cybersecurity Process Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Process Engineer to join our team at Aptiv. In this role, you will provide cybersecurity support to internal and external customers, ensuring that our CTO Product Cybersecurity processes are up-to-date with the latest industry techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop architecture and roadmaps for cybersecurity methods
  • Identify and close process gaps, and implement continuous improvements
  • Engage with CTO teams and other Aptiv business units to improve cybersecurity processes
  • Support CTO training and awareness initiatives, and assist in creating a strong cybersecurity culture

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
  • 8+ years' experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Automotive Engineering
  • 3-4+ years' experience in engineering design process development

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Automotive processes and standards
  • Experience with in-vehicle data communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SENT, Flexray, and Ethernet
