Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the dispatch of drivers across the metropolitan area to enhance efficiency and responsiveness in customer deliveries.
  • Track driver performance and modify schedules as new pick-up and delivery requests arise.
  • Optimize truck loads for both outbound and inbound routes.
  • Efficiently utilize overtime and external haulers to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Assist branches in maintaining customer relationships through effective communication, including modifications to equipment location or delivery schedules.
  • Uphold a strong commitment to safety and discipline through personal accountability and proactive communication.
  • Conduct all safety inspections in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Familiarity with DOT/Federal Motor Carrier regulations.
  • Strong focus on safety.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
