Front Desk Service Associate

At Embassy Suites Lubbock, we are searching for a skilled and enthusiastic hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team. The ideal candidate will be able to provide exceptional customer service, manage accounts efficiently, and ensure that every guest has an excellent experience. This role involves welcoming guests, checking them in and out, answering inquiries, and fielding complaints. We value strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
About the Role
This position requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as you will be working closely with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests. You will also take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests' needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests. Additionally, you will handle customer complaints as necessary and perform regular bookkeeping duties to ensure hotel guest information is current and correct. We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around $45,000-$50,000 depending on location and experience.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and one year of hotel industry experience or related job. They should be well-versed in Microsoft Office and reservation management systems, and have impeccable time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
