POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Safety and Reliability Engineer at Astronics AES, you will be instrumental in applying Safety and Reliability (S&R) methodologies to shape the design of safety-critical aerospace electronic systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Functional Hazard Analysis and System Safety Evaluations
- Implement Reliability and Maintainability principles in accordance with industry standards
- Create Safety & Reliability program strategies and execute reliability assessments
- Utilize various software tools and methodologies
- Engage in design reviews and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of seven years of pertinent experience
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams
- Understanding of safety protocols for aerospace applications
- Familiarity with system safety procedures and reliability forecasting models
