Job Title: Reliability Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reliability Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks throughout our facility to ensure the highest standards of execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Design Verification Tests on component level using oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, etc.
  • Setup equipment and run environmental tests in thermal and TVAC chambers
  • Operate environmental test chambers (Thermal cycling, vacuum, HALT/HASS)
  • Install instrumentation on various types of hardware and fixtures
  • Execute electronic test procedures that part of a system level testing
  • Create reports using collected test data
  • Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
  • Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
  • Write and/or modify Python scripts

A day in the life of a Reliability Technician at Insight Global will be fast-paced and dynamic. You will be working in a high-tech environment, collaborating with engineers and management to ensure the highest quality of work. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • 1+ years experience PCBA modification, cable harness fabrication, and test of prototype hardware for aerospace, consumer, automotive, or networking infrastructure
  • Experience with PCBA rework including fine, hand soldering of electronic components and following schematics
  • Proven track record of delivering results on time
  • Well-developed communication skills with the ability to review and develop written instructions; document work performed, and follow up with engineers and management as required
