Hardware Reliability Engineer

Job DescriptionThis position reports to the Manager, Hardware Reliability Engineering. As a Hardware Reliability Developer, you will be responsible for building hardware-specific tools that scale systems through automation and evolve ServiceNow's infrastructure to improve reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop hardware-specific tools that automate system scaling and improve reliability
- Collaborate with external hardware partners to create innovative solutions
- Build and maintain documentation on hardware-related topics
- Work closely with operations teams to develop cross-team solutions
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and networking
- 2+ years of experience with enterprise-class server systems and remote access management devices
- 2+ years of experience with shell scripting and Python, including programming against RESTful APIs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent communication, conflict management, and interpersonal skills
