Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals in designated units, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in providing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will be responsible for assessing nursing needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Assess nursing needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and wound care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and services
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the State of South Carolina
  • 1+ years of experience in nursing, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
