Job Title: Environmental Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team at Brown and Caldwell. As an Environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing sustainable solutions for our clients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, with a focus on wastewater, water reuse, infrastructure, and stormwater management. You will be responsible for executing planning, design, and engineering services project work, conducting technical evaluations, and performing project management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute planning, design, and engineering services project work involving wastewater and water treatment, stormwater, infrastructure, and water reuse.
  • Conduct technical evaluations to support planning and design-related activities.
  • Perform project management, deputy project management, or task manager roles.
  • Perform engineering work on a variety of environmental engineering projects.
  • Prepare technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and miscellaneous contract documents.
  • Communicate and coordinate with project teams, including other disciplines.
  • Successfully manage and deliver assignments on time and on budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field.
  • Related coursework or internship experience required; 2+ years of professional experience preferred.
  • Desire to work on projects related to wastewater, water resources, water reuse, infrastructure, and stormwater.
  • FE (or ability to obtain in the near future) preferred.
  • Good technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and on large coordinated teams.
  • Ability to successfully manage and deliver on multiple tasks with competing priorities.
