Job Title: Environmental Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team at Tetra Tech. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the environmental sustainability of our projects.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring timely completion and adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Conduct field inspections and oversight at various sites to ensure compliance with environmental health and safety protocols.
  • Organize and review data, preparing technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and plan field investigations of contaminated sites, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Plan and perform multi-media sampling, including soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling, to identify potential environmental hazards.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of practical experience in environmental consulting, scientific research, or environmental engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, including the Hawaii Department of Health HEER Office program.
  • Experience conducting site investigations, field sampling, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and GIS data analysis.
