Job Title: Environmental Engineer 4

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer 4 to join our team at CDM Smith. As a key member of our water resources group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing water treatment facilities, water and sewer systems, and other environmental infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop water treatment facilities, water and sewer systems, and other environmental infrastructure projects
  • Review and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals and respond to client requests
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff
  • Mentor and develop junior staff for future growth within the discipline and firm
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in states where an EIT is not obtainable
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices
  • Knowledge of engineer principles of design
  • Knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.)
