Job Responsibilities

The Family Advocate will provide support focused on the individual families' needs in the areas of health, education, nutrition, and social services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining caseloads with children ranging from 0-5 years and prenatal mothers
  • Positively influencing and interacting with children while maintaining a strong understanding of safety and quality of service
  • Developing individualized support plans per the family and child's needs
  • Recording and home visits and socialization attendance
  • Advocating for children and families and providing guidance and goal-setting support for family success
  • Providing on-going support and crisis interventions through direct services as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree preferred, with an associate's degree considered
