Job Responsibilities
The Family Advocate will provide support focused on the individual families' needs in the areas of health, education, nutrition, and social services. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining caseloads with children ranging from 0-5 years and prenatal mothers
- Positively influencing and interacting with children while maintaining a strong understanding of safety and quality of service
- Developing individualized support plans per the family and child's needs
- Recording and home visits and socialization attendance
- Advocating for children and families and providing guidance and goal-setting support for family success
- Providing on-going support and crisis interventions through direct services as needed
