Medical Social Worker

We are seeking a skilled Medical Social Worker to join our team in a per diem capacity. As a Medical Social Worker, you will play a vital role in assessing and addressing the holistic healthcare needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' social and emotional factors related to their illness and care needs.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams and clients.
- Provide education and training to staff as needed, and participate in case conferences.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program.
- Maine Board of Social Work Licensure: LCSW, LMSW, LSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
- Current CPR certification.
- One or more years of experience as a master's level social worker in a healthcare setting.
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance.
