  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes through integrated behavioral health approaches.
  • Leads initiatives to promote mental health awareness, destigmatization, and proactive behavioral health interventions.
  • Ensures adherence to evidence-based practices and quality standards in behavioral health care delivery.
  • Monitors clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develops educational programs and training initiatives for family medicine residents, faculty, and staff on behavioral health integration.
  • Mentors and supervises trainees and early-career behavioral health providers.
  • Fosters partnerships with community organizations, mental health providers, and stakeholders to enhance patient access and continuity of care.
  • Represents the practice in local and regional behavioral health initiatives and collaborations.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama.
  • Five years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
  • Active licensure with the state of Alabama as a Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Counselor.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
