Key Responsibilities:- Develops and implements a strategic vision for integrating behavioral health services into our family medicine practice.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes through integrated behavioral health approaches.
- Leads initiatives to promote mental health awareness, destigmatization, and proactive behavioral health interventions.
- Ensures adherence to evidence-based practices and quality standards in behavioral health care delivery.
- Monitors clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Develops educational programs and training initiatives for family medicine residents, faculty, and staff on behavioral health integration.
- Mentors and supervises trainees and early-career behavioral health providers.
- Fosters partnerships with community organizations, mental health providers, and stakeholders to enhance patient access and continuity of care.
- Represents the practice in local and regional behavioral health initiatives and collaborations.
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama.
- Five years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
- Active licensure with the state of Alabama as a Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Counselor.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
