About the Role:

AltaPointe Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist Specialist - Mental Health to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Therapist Specialist - Mental Health will be responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy to patients in an inpatient acute setting. This includes formulating treatment plans, conducting clinical assessments, and responding to crisis situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapy Services: Provide effective therapy services to patients, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Treatment Planning: Formulate treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations and provide de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient interactions and progress.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Master's Degree: A master's degree in a mental health discipline is required.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a therapist is necessary.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
