Medical Science Liaison

At CCI Consulting Inc., we are expanding our team of Medical Science Liaisons to support the growth of a leading international pharmaceutical company in Princeton, New Jersey. As a Medical Science Liaison - Oncology Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing relationships with the medical/scientific community by communicating oncology product-related information to investigators and institutions.
About the RoleThis is a field-based position that requires frequent travel domestically and internationally (approximately 30-50% of time, including some weekend travel). You will be responsible for identifying, establishing, and maintaining collaborative relationships with key investigators and institutions strategic to the effective use of company products.
Responsibilities- Identify clinical research opportunities that align with company objectives
- Enhance professional interaction between the company and industry leaders
- Provide technical support for study development and facilitate the identification of medical community training and educational needs for product introduction
- Maintain clinical expertise through aggressive education, including attendance at relevant conferences, scientific workshops, and review of key journals
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a pharmaceutical or healthcare-related field; a Master's Degree is preferred
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or healthcare education environment
- Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, and OIG guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to network and partner with important external customers, including medical thought leaders, academic institutions, and large group practices
We offer a highly competitive total compensation package, commensurate with experience. This includes a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
