Job Summary

ABSC is seeking a highly skilled FMV/Edge Data Support Project Manager to join our team in Washington, DC. As a technical project manager and functional subject matter expert, you will serve as a liaison between the government and contractors, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between contracts and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with prime integrators to collect operational data and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
  • Support data preprocessing through sanitization processes, ensuring all guidelines and policies are strictly followed.
  • Collaborate with the data team to update labeling ontologies and review labeling guidance.
  • Assist the PMO Data lead in vendor meetings and provide updates on new labeling practices.
  • Work with academia to integrate innovative ideas into the labeling pipeline, reducing labeler bias and increasing efficiency.
  • Review data and metadata to recommend new methods of cleaning, organizing, and filtering.
  • Communicate requirements with the FMV team to access hard-to-find data and update fielding requirements.
  • Attend conferences and symposiums to disseminate information and update senior leaders.

Requirements:

  • Specialized FMV/PED experience in the IC or DOD.
  • Experience leading or working with product-focused cross-functional teams and/or programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience monitoring contractor performance.
  • Demonstrated experience working on or with major defense acquisitions or large R&D programs.
