The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the optimal performance of mobile equipment.
Compensation:
Maximum Pay Rate: $35/HR

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on all mobile machinery
• Overhaul machinery and its components
• Operate and evaluate equipment to identify issues
• Disassemble equipment to access problem areas
• Repair faulty hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks
• Change oil and service batteries
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks
• Recommend external repairs when necessary
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Create work orders and manage parts procurement through an electronic system
• Utilize computer diagnostics tools (Cat ET, Cummins Insite, John Deere)
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Equipment Manager
Required Skills:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy mobile equipment
• Familiarity with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and driveline components
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication
• Capability to maneuver in confined spaces and perform physical tasks
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic computer proficiency
• Valid CDL license or willingness to obtain one
• Openness to performing other assigned tasks.
