Ultrasound Technologist II PRN

Research Medical Center is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist II PRN to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, including routine sonograms and interventional sonograms. Your expertise will help us provide exceptional patient care and contribute to our mission of delivering compassionate and innovative healthcare.
Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound procedures, including routine sonograms and interventional sonograms, under the direction of a radiologist.
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Work within established policies and procedures, adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or School of Sonography.
- Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Registered in vascular and a minimum of two of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abdomen, or Breast.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one-year hospital department experience in medical sonography, including biopsies.
