Ultrasound Technologist II Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist II to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform sonography procedures, including routine and interventional sonograms, under the direction of a Radiologist.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Work within established guidelines and policies, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or Sonography.
  • Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Minimum of one year of hospital department experience in medical sonography, including biopsies.
  • Ability to accurately complete sonography examinations as ordered by referring physicians.
  • Experience with radiology information systems to obtain previous examination reports.
