We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and document patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Act as a patient advocate, providing compassionate care and support to patients and their families.
- Conduct accurate clinical assessments, perform patient care activities, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Communicate patient information and thoroughly document therapist actions and care plans.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) required.
- NC PTA license required.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA required.
Work Environment
This role is based in a fast-paced clinical environment, with occasional outdoor work. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly with patients and colleagues, and maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion.
