About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team at TRITECH Communications Inc. as an Audio Visual Purchasing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and timely processing of equipment purchase orders
  • Select and negotiate with vendors to obtain the lowest cost with focus on total value
  • Obtain manufacturer shipping schedules and relay to Project Managers
  • Expedite equipment when necessary
  • Recommend alternate suppliers for cost savings or improved delivery
  • Resolve any problems related to delivery dates, quality, quantity, or cost of purchased goods and services
  • Issue purchase orders for job-related equipment
  • Review discrepancies in invoices not in complete agreement with purchase orders
  • Process returns of unused or incorrect equipment
  • Negotiate contracts with Tier 2 vendors
  • Participate in negotiating Tier 1 vendor contracts with the Security President
  • Work with Finance, Estimating, and Project Management to create reports and documentation as required
  • Ensure the quantity and quality of incoming equipment
  • Oversee inventory re-order levels of all equipment to maintain an optimal level and maximize turnover

  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers, including Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills for successful project completion
  • Ability to effectively handle stressful situations
  • Ability to read and interpret general business documentation
