About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the functions of our mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
  • Prescription Filling: Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
  • Supply Management: Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Wholesaler Management: Receive and process wholesaler medication orders, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Inventory Management: Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Pharmacy Support: Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and maintain compliance with all federal and state requirements.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties relating to the department, including communication with strong professional verbal and written skills.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Active License: Hold an active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Minnesota.
  • Experience: Possess 6+ months of retail or long-term care Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Transportation: Have access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification: Possess National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
