As the Manager of Solutions Architecture, you will report directly to the Director of Field Engineering within the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects dedicated to managing intricate, strategic client accounts.
Your leadership will be pivotal in cultivating a dynamic team proficient in enterprise software, big data analytics, data engineering, and data science.
Your collaborative experience with the sales division will be instrumental in capitalizing on revenue opportunities through effective strategies while mentoring new sales and pre-sales personnel to foster teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Solutions Architects in a rapidly growing organization.
- Achieve sales targets by ensuring your team is adept at account qualification, particularly from a technical standpoint, identifying critical use cases, creating proof of concepts, and establishing themselves as trusted advisors throughout the customer journey.
- Enhance customer success with Databricks, delivering exceptional value to their operations.
- Build and maintain relationships across various business units (partners, sales, go-to-market) to ensure the success of both customers and your team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the data domain with a technical product (e.g., data warehousing, big data, or machine learning).
- At least 2 years of experience in leading technical teams, preferably within a pre-sales environment, focusing on territory development, strategic account upselling, and surpassing annual sales quotas.
- Act as a trusted advisor to technical executives, guiding them in strategic data infrastructure decisions.
- Experience in leading teams through best practices for technical qualifications, proof of concepts, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations.
- Proven track record in hiring and developing qualified candidates, ensuring their success, and promoting them into higher roles.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry.
This position allows for remote work, although candidates located in the specified areas are preferred and may need to travel up to 30% as required.

Compensation:
