About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Experience Manager to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth through effective front-end operations and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the customer experience team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive customer engagement and loyalty
  • Manage and execute store recovery standards to deliver our brand promises
  • Assist the Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs
  • Ensure all front-end policies and procedures are followed
  • Plan and lead the execution of class and in-store events
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs
  • Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits
  • Assist with inventory processes
  • Train and develop the customer experience team
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD)
Requirements
  • 2+ years of retail management experience
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
