About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Public Policy Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. As a key member of our Public Policy and Advocacy team, you will play a critical role in promoting the interests of Girl Scouts and advancing our strategic goals.

**Job Summary**
The Public Policy Associate will work closely with our Manager, Public Affairs, to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including legislative and executive branch agencies, interest groups, and coalitions. You will also assist in project coordination, content development, and office management. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on public policy and advocacy efforts that benefit girls and women.

**Responsibilities**
  • Develop and maintain relationship mapping and tracking for key stakeholders
  • Maintain and disseminate background information on lawmakers and policymakers
  • Manage PPA general email accounts and content on the Girl Scout Advocacy Center
  • Represent GSUSA in coalitions, at meetings, and events
  • Support project coordination, content development, and office management

**Requirements**
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate environment
  • Strong research, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish/manage priorities and work plans
  • Demonstrates initiative and commitment to problem-solving
  • Experience and confidence to multi-task with close attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000
