Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in children.

Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will work with children from birth to 3 years old, providing early intervention services to help them develop essential communication and social skills. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to create personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each child.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's communication and swallowing skills
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services to children in their natural environments
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • NJ Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
  • At least 2 years of experience working with young children with disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
