Role Responsibilities

The Senior Compliance Officer is tasked with the development, implementation, and oversight of the Bank's compliance programs, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and operational guidelines. This role includes educating and informing relevant personnel, senior management, and the Board of Directors about compliance obligations. Additionally, the Compliance Officer will lead training initiatives for bank employees.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer the Compliance Program effectively.
  • Maintain and update the Bank's compliance resources, leveraging modern technology.
  • Act as the in-house compliance authority, providing guidance to all Bank personnel.
  • Collaborate with management to design new products or enhance existing offerings.
  • Review and revise policies and procedures under the direction of senior management and the Board.
  • Coordinate the annual compliance audit process.
  • Work alongside management to address deficiencies and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Evaluate advertisements and new product offerings for compliance.
  • Oversee the Bank's BSA Officer and manage the BSA Policy and program.
  • Serve as the Bank's CRA officer.
  • Conduct compliance testing across all Bank operations.
  • Regularly discuss compliance activities, issues, and regulatory updates with the Board of Directors.
  • Supervise and facilitate all training for employees and directors.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
