Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician I- Part Time

Job Summary:

The Registered Behavior Technician I (RBT) position is responsible for implementing direct behavior analytic services under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) for children and young adults served by Anne Carlsen. The RBT will implement client's individualized care plans and behavioral intervention programs, as well as evidence-based curriculum, interventions, and programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement direct behavior analytic services under the supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA
  • Implement client's individualized care plans and behavioral intervention programs
  • Implement evidence-based curriculum, interventions, and programming
  • Provide training, guidance, and direction to the client's team and staff
  • Effectively utilize problem-solving skills in determining client needs and staff training needs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Complete and pass criminal background check
  • Completion of 40-hour RBT training requirement and certification within 4 months of employment
  • Knowledge of Windows, Intranet, Internet, and Telehealth technology
  • Ability to access, manipulate, organize, and relay information in meaningful ways using emails, phones, etc.
  • Effective skills in organization and communication - both written and oral
  • Ability to direct the work of individuals served using problem-solving skills, adapt to rapid change, and intervene promptly in crisis/emergency situations
  • RBT experience with training in the principles and techniques of Applied Behavioral Analysis, including understanding behavioral plans and behavior analytical services
