We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Assembly Specialist to join our team at Agri-Cover, Inc. in Jamestown, ND. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling parts of various materials to produce small products or subassemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble parts in specified relationships to each other.
- Bolt, cut, stamp, sew, screw, clip, cement, or otherwise fasten parts together.
- Work at a station as a member of an assembly, sewing, or cutting team.
- Operate, load, and unload previously set-up machines to perform fastening, fitting, or light metal cutting operations on an assembly line.
- Work at different workstations as production needs require or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderate. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be required to stand, walk, and sit frequently, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
