Position Summary:
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of the organization. Collaborating closely with the executive team, you will be instrumental in guiding strategic financial initiatives, ensuring effective internal controls, and managing comprehensive financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Reporting:
- Supervise the timely and accurate closing of monthly financial records.
- Review and reconcile accounts in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and present insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct thorough variance analysis to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Develop sophisticated financial models to support accurate forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Create and utilize financial reports to collaborate with senior management effectively.

Strategic Planning and Budgeting:
- Collaborate with senior leaders to formulate a comprehensive 3-5 year strategic plan.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Mentor finance staff to provide detailed budget variance analysis for departmental leaders.
- Generate financial forecasts and monitor performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.

Compliance and Internal Controls:
- Establish and enforce robust internal control policies to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including legal and accounting professionals.
- Utilize advanced cost accounting techniques for thorough analysis and reporting.
- Oversee multi-site accounting processes to ensure accurate intercompany accounting.

Leadership and Team Development:
- Inspire and guide the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure financial alignment with corporate goals.
- Create a supportive environment that encourages team success.

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in financial and accounting management.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to identify key business drivers and develop strategic initiatives.
- Experience in managing intercompany accounting in a multi-entity environment is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in building and developing high-performance teams.
- Familiarity with operational excellence and enterprise-wide technology solutions.
- Knowledge of payroll functions and compliance regulations is preferred.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Experience with M&A transactions and R&D tax credits is desirable.
- Internal audit experience is a valuable asset.
- An MBA, CMA, or CPA is highly regarded.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
