About the Role:

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment at the Cleveland Clinic, where you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pulmonary function testing according to the latest ATS/ERS standards.
  • Analyze quality control data and perform advanced invasive or noninvasive protocols.
  • Share educational in-services with staff, advanced practice nurses, and physician assistants.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Pulmonary Function Technician (RPFT) credentialing from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Minimum of 1 year direct patient care experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of critical care patient experience.
  • Previous pulmonary function testing experience.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to administer six minute walk tests at a pace of at least 3.0 mph, ability to move K cylinders onto dollies, ability to change gas cylinder regulators with a wrench, and ability to lift boxes up to 25 pounds in weight.
