Job Title: Senior Fleet Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fleet Mechanic to join our team at TruGreen Limited Partnership. As a Senior Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on production equipment, fleet vehicles, and specialized equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair fleet vehicle chassis and specialized vehicle back-end tank, pump, and spray systems.
  • Diagnose and repair tractors, forklifts, small engines, and specialized equipment (aerators, seeders, spreaders, etc.).
  • Accurately document all repairs in an electronic maintenance management system.
  • Maintain parts inventory and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Arrange, follow up, and document outsourced maintenance performed by vendors and local service providers.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budget.
  • Respond to vehicle and equipment breakdowns in the field as needed/required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5 years of automotive mechanic experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ASE Certification and/or successful completion of an Automotive Technology Program from a certified school required.

Noise level is low to moderate. Adverse conditions are minimal.

Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English is required. You MUST BE physically located in the United States while performing this job.

Pay Ranges: $42,002.00 - $84,000.00

This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law.
