Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented MCT Laboratory Technologist Trainee to join our team at Labcorp. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures, including specimen processing, testing, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process specimens for testing, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including immunoassay methodology, to analyze patient samples.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including laboratory logs and quality control records.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in laboratory information systems and computer software.
  • Ability to pass a standardized color vision screen.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed.
