Position Overview & Requirements- Specialty: CT Imaging
- Discipline: Allied Health Professional
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
The ideal candidate will possess IV certification and should ideally have experience with Siemens imaging equipment. The work schedule is structured from 1:30 PM to Midnight, covering Sunday through Wednesday.
Daily Patient Load: Up to 20 patients
Patient Demographics: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
This role involves performing Orthopedic examinations, either in designated exam rooms or utilizing portable imaging equipment. The patient demographic includes both adults and pediatrics, as well as inpatients and outpatients. Given the department's structure, the candidate may be rotated across various departments within the facility or in associated private sectors.
Experience in Work Settings: Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Room, Adult Intensive Care Unit
General Skills Required: Portables
X-ray Procedure Experience: Extremities, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Lower and Upper Extremities
CT Procedure Experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CT Angiography, Multiplanar Reconstruction
Epic System Experience Preferred
Certifications/Licenses: BLS, ARRT, DOHNYS, IV Certification
The position necessitates the capability to lift, push, pull, or maneuver patients and equipment exceeding 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices.
Unit Accepts First-Time Travelers: Yes
Minimum Experience Required: 2 years
Uniform: Charcoal Grey
