Job Summary:
AmeriHealth Caritas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Behavioral Health Case Workers to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Behavioral Health Case Workers, providing clinical direction, organizational leadership, and rigorous monitoring of all care management delegation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Behavioral Health Case Workers, ensuring that care management services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Provide clinical direction and guidance to the Behavioral Health Case Workers, ensuring that they are aligned with the organization's goals and state regulations.
- Monitor productivity and documentation, mentoring staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
- Assist in executing the strategic plans and daily operations of the Behavioral Health Case Workers, with a focus on improving processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Department of Mental Health, Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Social Services, and Department of Disability and Special Needs to ensure compliance with state regulations.
Requirements:
- At least three (3)+ years of Behavioral Health clinical practice experience, a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN), and an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in South Carolina, along with any other states in which you operate.
- OR At least five (5)+ years of Behavioral Health clinical practice experience, a Master of Social Worker (MSW), and LMSW licensure in South Carolina; LCSW/LISW licensure will also be considered.
- Must have at least two (2) years of Supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) to manage data, prepare reports, and communicate effectively; experience with MS Access is a plus.
- Ability to utilize electronic medical record (EMR) and documentation programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail; solid decision-making and problem-solving skills a plus, as well as the ability to prioritize and organize.
