Job Summary

The Industrial Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of system-controlled robotics, machine tools, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair
    • Identify and evaluate the condition of equipment and determine the strategy to repair and rebuild.
    • Own preventative maintenance and extensive repairs; diagnose problems, plan, and complete work required, identify and order parts.
  • Machine Tool Maintenance and Modification
    • Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, process equipment, facilities, including spindles, pumps, motors, guarding, drives, bearings, lead screws, including lubrication fluids and coolant.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Apply knowledge of components, devices, and equipment used in industrial equipment applications and the related mechanics, including various machine tools, measurement devices, lathes.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Mechanical Discipline OR High School Diploma/GED with a Military Mechanical Training Course.
  • Ability and willingness to work off shifts and weekends.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
Desired Characteristics
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in Manufacturing Facility in a technical maintenance role.
  • Strong mechanical and hydraulic fundamental and safety knowledge (schematics, precision measurement tools, LOTO).
