Job Title: Swim Instructor

At British Swim School of Northwest Philadelphia, we're seeking a passionate and skilled Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you'll play a vital role in teaching fun and engaging swim lessons to children and adults, starting from 3 months old.

About the Role:

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and able to work with people of all ages and skill levels. As a Swim Instructor, you'll be responsible for:

  • Instructing swimming lessons in accordance with our training and program standards
  • Working a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Providing a safe and supportive learning environment for our students
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for teaching and working with people
  • Comfortable in and around water, with strong swimming skills (training can be provided)
  • Ability to maintain certifications throughout employment
Preferred Qualifications:

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Experience working with children
  • Swimming experience (1-2 years preferred)
  • Customer service skills (1 year preferred)
  • Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s) (preferred but can be obtained during training)
