Job Summary

Pape' Material Handling Inc. is seeking a skilled Periodic Maintenance Technician to join their team in Tigard. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing periodic maintenance on all makes and models of forklifts and other heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on forklifts and other heavy equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and perform repairs as needed.
  • Work at customer locations to ensure equipment is properly maintained and running in peak form.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of equipment manuals and technical documentation.
Requirements
  • 1 or more years of experience servicing electric and internal combustion lift trucks and construction equipment.
  • Self-motivation and assertive attitude.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to work under little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Driver's license with a good driving record.
