About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and write pre-op orders as specified by approved standard procedure
  • Administer all types of anesthetic and techniques, and monitor patients intra-operatively
  • Provide safe intra-op care and assist in post-operative care as needed
  • Supervise student anesthetists when assigned, and assess orientation and progress
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and nurse anesthesia
  • AANA Certification
  • Valid California Registered Nurse license and California Nurse Anesthetist license
  • Valid ACLS Certification

External candidates hired into this classification are eligible for a $20,000.00 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments of $10,000.00 each, after six months and one year of employment.
