Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional. As a member of our C.A.R.E. crew, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living tasks, hygiene, and medication management.
  • Assist individuals with their social needs, including preparing meals, cleaning, and engaging in recreational activities.
  • Participate in training and team meetings to build knowledge, skills, and abilities to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Take ownership of your own behaviors and help coach others in demonstrating the company's C.A.R.E. values: compassion, adaptability, respect, and empowerment.
Requirements
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years old.
  • Relevant experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or forensic involvement.
  • A current driver's license and California automobile insurance coverage for driving your personal vehicle to and from various community locations.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
