Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to enhance ERP systems and processes, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
  • Engage with users and stakeholders to identify and implement initiatives aimed at streamlining finance operations.
  • Gather business requirements and convert them into technical specifications for solution development.
  • Analyze and document complex processes and data flows utilizing visual flow-charting tools.
  • Create reports, timelines, and visual aids to communicate project progress to management.
  • Identify trends and patterns to propose effective solutions for business challenges and new initiatives.
  • Oversee and participate in user acceptance testing and validation processes.
  • Develop training materials and provide guidance on system functionalities.
  • Support various departments and subsidiaries with analytical needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role or a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, with a preference for Great Plains and/or Dynamics 365 Finance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels and with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to articulate complex financial processes clearly and concisely.
  • Solid understanding of requirements gathering, analysis, and design principles.
  • Good grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in project and change management.
  • Capability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting or programming languages for process automation is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Experience with data analysis and financial reporting software is beneficial.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
