Job Title: Senior Backend Software Development Engineer

Maxar Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality backend systems using Java, Apache NiFi, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins and other tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
  • Proficiency in Java, Apache NiFi, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with automated deployment pipelines and Jenkins.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and containerization.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics.
  • Certifications in Java, Apache NiFi, or other relevant technologies.
