Cyber Security Risk Management Specialist

Cox Communications is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Risk Management Specialist to join its team. As a member of the compliance department, you will contribute to the development and implementation of security controls, risk management strategies, and compliance programs.
About the RoleThis senior analyst position requires a strong understanding of security frameworks, including SOC 2, PCI-DSS, NIST 800-53, and HIPAA. The ideal candidate will have experience in information security controls, IT audit, or security risk management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain remediation plans alongside remediation owners, then track the remediation plans through completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure they are properly implementing and managing security controls, understand their operations, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide governance over internal assessments and external audits of compliance programs.
We offer a competitive salary range of $88,300 - $147,100 per year, based on factors such as location and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health care insurance, retirement planning, paid days off, and more.
