Job Summary:The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of products or components in various industries. This involves inspecting, testing, and evaluating products against established quality standards to identify defects or deviations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough visual inspections and measurements of products, materials, or components using various tools and instruments.
- Ensure that products meet defined quality specifications and standards.
- Perform and document First-Article, In-process, and Final Inspections, communicate required adjustments to production personnel, and release finished product for delivery.
- Identify and document any defects, deviations, or non-conformities in products or materials.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection and testing activities, including test reports, inspection logs, and non-conformance reports.
- Engineering or related degree is preferred, but technical or vocational training in quality assurance will be considered as well.
- 2-5 years of experience in quality inspection or a related field.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools, gauges, and equipment.
- Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME), welding symbols, and AS9102B First Article Inspections Reports.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality management systems (ISO 9001 & AS9100).
